Watching the sunset

"You can't or you won't?"

"No.... I mean I really can't. I froze my tear ducts." I chuckled. "I can't really melt them."

She sighs, making a small flame appear on her index finger, moving it close enough to his face to melt the tear ducts. "There"

"I'm still not cryin'" I said. "You know... It doesn't really bother me that much. We didn't spend a lot of time together. You guys here? You, Jet, all our friends... You're my real family." Finally, I returned her hug.

"Yea, b-" She stops herself. What's the point in ruining his happiness, even if it's fake. "You're right, we're family..."

"Well," I said sitting back up. "no point in sitting here, sulking. Are you uh... busy tonight, Haruka? Maybe we could go grab a bite to eat later?"

"Sure, sounds like fun." She smiles, taking one last glance at the beautiful scenery.

"Right." I got up, and dusted myself off. "Well, I promised the guys I'd kick their asses at cards today, so I'll come to your room at about... seven?" With that, I leisurely walked off the edge of the roof, using my levitation ability to float myself down to my room's balcony, and went to open the door. Unfortunately I hadn't planned ahead and forgot my key. "Uh.... it's locked. Whoops." I looked up embarrassed, then jumped down and entered the building the 'normal' way.

He stands up and uses one of his powers to become the "Man of Fire" and he disipates into thin air to get to his room.
